Climate change is the biggest challenge of our generation.
In order to stop the global temperature rising beyond 1.5ºC and avoid the worst impacts of climate change, our world needs to reach Net Zero emissions before 2050.

Drivers for change
There are many things we can all do to reduce our collective environmental impact. The five priority areas below are the areas where we can make the biggest difference

The continued success of our business is intrinsically linked to our commitment to protecting the people and the planet.
To address our impact on the environment, one of the most significant actions we are taking is changing to 100% renewable energy sources. This initiative aims to drastically reduce our scope 1 and 2 emissions. By powering our operations with renewable electricity, we will not only diminish our reliance on fossil fuels but also contribute to a sustainable future. This shift not only aligns with our core values but also ensures that our business thrives in harmony with the environment, reinforcing our dedication to corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship. Through these efforts, we are paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future for all.
Transportation accounts for approximately 20% of global carbon emissions, making it essential to our net-zero goals.
To address this challenge, transitioning to a fully electric vehicle (EV) fleet is a key step. By collaborating with our suppliers to adopt more efficient vehicles and fuels for transporting our buildings, we can significantly lower emissions. Additionally, by examining how our suppliers deploy their vehicles, we can further decrease our carbon footprint. This includes optimising practices such as maximising truck utilisation and enhancing route efficiency.
Through these strategies, we not only aim to achieve our sustainability targets but also set a precedent for responsible transportation practices in the industry.
Renewable energy acceleration
Engaging with key stakeholders across our value chain
Lower-carbon materials
Carbon removal
Driving towards a cleaner future
Addressing the climate crisis necessitates a united front involving diverse geographies, sectors, and societies.
Our commitment to combating emissions, particularly those generated from the use of our modular buildings, hinges on effective collaboration with our customers and suppliers. We aim to foster partnerships that encourage stakeholders throughout our value chain to embrace renewable energy solutions for powering the modular units they rent from us. Additionally, we are dedicated to developing increasingly energy-efficient buildings to align with the evolving needs of our customers. Through these collective efforts, we strive to create a more sustainable future while significantly reducing our environmental impact.
We are committed to cutting the carbon footprint of our products and services throughout all stages of their lifecycle.
To achieve this, we will collaborate closely with our suppliers to source lower-carbon materials, including low-carbon steel and glass. This strategic focus targets our second largest source of emissions—the raw materials used to manufacture our products. By prioritising emissions reduction from the very beginning of the product lifecycle, we ensure that we maintain the high quality our customers expect, while also contributing to a more sustainable future.
Our initiatives reflect our dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation.
We are committed to cutting the carbon footprint of our products and services throughout every stage of their lifecycle.
To achieve this, we will collaborate closely with our suppliers to source lower-carbon materials, including low-carbon steel and glass. By focusing on the raw materials we purchase, which contribute significantly to our emissions, we aim to significantly reduce our environmental impact right from the beginning. This approach ensures that we maintain the high quality our customers expect while making substantial strides towards a more sustainable future. By prioritising eco-friendly materials, we not only enhance our products but also contribute positively to the planet.
